THIS IS WHAT OUR HOLIDAY HOME IN FRIESLAND HAS TO OFFER YOU
THE KITCHEN
Completely renovated in 2021 from a dilapidated sheep stable to a luxurious and cozy kitchen. Where you can eat, drink, chat and play games with eight people. The kitchen has an electrically operated skylight, underfloor heating and two sofas with cushions for the garden. And of course all the modern equipment you would expect:

THE BATHROOMS
Your holiday home in Friesland has two small, modern bathrooms. One on the ground floor that overlooks the meadow. And one on the first floor that overlooks the kaats field. Both bathrooms have a rain shower and a toilet.

THE LIVING ROOM
In the spacious living room of our summer house, the original carpentry from the 19th century is immediately noticeable. Let your children sleep in the authentic box bed, enjoy the view over the kaats field or relax on the couch to watch Netflix.

THE GARDENS
Enjoy the large and sunny backyard. With a view over the meadows with Frisian horses. Listen to the frogs, coots and ducks in the canal.
Or look in the front garden over the large Húns kaats court. If you're lucky, you'll witness a kaats match. And if not; then your children will have a gigantic field - with play equipment - to enjoy themselves all summer long.

HOLIDAY HOME IN FRIESLAND WITH SURFBOARD AND BIKES
There is a surfboard in the alley next to our house. Fun to float in the water with the children. Or take it to Makkum to go windsurfing.

Would you rather cycle a bit? That is also possible. There are four bicycles ready for you in our shed.

THE BEDROOMS
The beds are neatly made for you upon arrival. And we have two towels ready for each guest.
Two bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with two single beds, and if you include the box bed from 1842, we even have sleeping places for six adults and two little ones.

A bedroom - with an original linen cupboard - is located on the ground floor and overlooks the meadows. On the first floor there are two modern bedrooms with lots of light. One looks out over the kaats field and the other over the meadows.
LAUNDRY ROOM / PANTRY
After we had converted the old sheep stable into a kitchen in 2021, we turned the old, small kitchen into a laundry room / pantry.
