ICE SKATING RINK
The kaats court in front of our holiday home in Friesland is the place where the terp stood in times gone by. Only the church still rests on the last part of this mound. In winter, the kaats gloves are exchanged for warm mittens. Because if all goes well, the frost - and the handy villagers - will transform the kaats field into a beautiful ice skating rink. Strap on your boots and slide on the natural ice. Then enjoy a warm snack in our cozy kitchen afterwards.
