HÚNS - HATSUM - WINSUM - BEARD
Starting in Húns, the approximately 14 kilometer route winds past quiet country lanes and picturesque farms. Along the way you pass typical Frisian waterways and the wooden windmill from the 19th century that is still in operation.
JABIKSPAAD NEAR LEONS
The Jabikspaad, also known as the Frisian part of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella, offers a unique walking experience through the heart of Friesland. This long-distance walk takes pilgrims and walkers past historic churches, quaint villages and breathtaking landscapes, largely following the traditional path that pilgrims have walked for centuries.
